This course is highly individualized, according to each student’s abilities, and designed to be taken repeatedly. In this course, students focus on learning essential English and Math skills.
Learning Literature improves comprehension, thinking, reading, and vocabulary skills.
Learning Mathematics improves practical application with money, time management, and number facts. In each session different skills are taught, and old skills are improved upon. In this class each student will be taught at their individual level, starting with what they know and what they can do, and then building upon their skills while learning new skills. Other topics which may be briefly covered in the 10-week period include: introduction to job applications, interviews, employee etiquette, communication skills, and life skills.
