Philosophy for Young Learners (Ages 9 - 13)

This course is designed for young learners whether they are being home schooled, or in a public or parochial setting. Young philosophers, ages 9 – 13, filled with burning questions, will have a great time in this course! Students will learn about the lives and ideas of ancient, as well as modern philosophers. They will use complex thinking skills to seek answers to these challenging and interesting questions for themselves. The course is designed to prompt the student to ponder topics such as justice, friendship, honesty, rewards, leadership and service, while simultaneously promoting self-discovery and critical thinking skills.
