The Circle of Learning - Life Skills

Welcome to the Circle of Learning, a program for individuals with special needs.  This course is offered in association with the D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana and will focus on the individual student’s daily independent skills.  It will cover etiquette, hygiene, time management, dressing appropriately and conversational skills.  A major part of this course will be role-playing for various life scenarios.  It will be stylized according to each student’s skill level. The students will need to bring a healthy snack. Co-Requisite: Student must be enrolled in The Circle of Learning Fundamentals Course. NOTE: Assistants/aides must attend.

Please read:  For ages 17 & up. No class Nov. 21. Students will need to bring a 3-ring notebook with paper, pencils, 4 or more colored pens, a calculator, and a healthy snack.
