Mindfulness Meditation begins with focusing the attention on the breath. This practice improves your awareness and mindfulness. As you awaken, you are able to live more fully present in each moment. This leads to clarity of seeing, which allows grasping and judgment to ease. You will cultivate compassion, balance, wisdom, joy and moral integrity. Your practice can ultimately dissolve suffering as you discover complete and unconditional freedom.
In addition to learning basic meditation technique, you will also learn walking and eating meditation. Compassion and loving-kindness practices (metta) also are presented.
Each session includes a period of sitting and walking meditation and metta practice. One session includes a period of mindful eating.
