Welcome to the pilot course for The Circle of Learning, a program for individuals with special needs.
This course is offered in association with the D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana.

The course offers English Literature and basic Mathematics.
  • The Literature portion, offered in the first hour, will help improve reading, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
  • The Mathematics segment, in the second hour, will help improve practical application with money, time management, and number facts.
This course is designed to help each participant improve these skills as well as, to help gain an idea of the student’s career interest. An introduction to job applications, resumes, interviews and employee etiquette will be briefly covered over the 10-week period. Furthering the participant’s education and fostering a love of learning is the heart and soul of this program.

here will be a break between the two classes, so please bring a nutritional snack.
NOTE: Assistants/aides attendance preferred.
