International Cooking (Ages 9 - 16)

Explore the different cuisines of the world. Students will journey into the art of cooking by preparing dishes from Italy, British Isles, China, Mexico, India, Caribbean Islands, Australia and South America. Students will be given a brief history and common cooking methods of each region. After cooking the dishes, students will be able to taste and enjoy the foods they prepared. All cooks welcomed from beginner to advanced. (Includes all food, supplies and copies of recipes.)

Notice

Please read:  Note: Please sign the Hold Harmless Agreement that will be available at class check-in. Please come to class with closed toe shoes, an apron and chef's hat or cap. Also, please bring containers to take food home each day. Children will be supervised, but must be able to follow directions on their own and able to work well with other children. The kitchen can be a very dangerous place, therefore any child who misbehaves or does not follow directions will not be allowed to participate. Drop Off Time: 8:45 – 9:00 AM Pick Up Time: 11:45 – 12:00 PM
