Bass University is bringing something new to the Lafayette area. It is called Crappie University and the course materials will include samples of crappie lures and jigheads!

Learn from the pros all about one of our most popular Louisiana fish, the sac-a-lait. Finicky but fierce, soft biters and hard hitters, plentiful yet scarce, frustrating yet fun.

That’s crappie fishing for you, and most of us have at one time or another wished we knew more about catching them. So, now comes your chance to learn (from the pros) in a comfortable classroom setting, no less.

Most know that crappie are usually easy to catch and delicious to eat, but because crappie seldom live longer than four years, a 3-pound crappie is a rare thing.

So, in Bass University style, this series of seminars will feature experts speaking to you about their strengths and techniques relevant to fishing in waters found in the local area. Instruction covers a variety of techniques ranging from fishing shallow to deep, and throughout all seasons. Most anyone can catch a crappie, but not everyone can find them, understand the seasonal issues and catch more than the others in the boat!

There will be 4 pro instructors, a different one each and every week, so you will not want to miss any of the classes. Attendees will learn from the best of the best. Seating is limited, so enroll early. Wait until you hear who’s coming to teach!  Register today and take advantage of this awesome opportunity.  Participants do not need to bring their own fishing equipment.
