Sessions will include instruction in the basic principles of film and digital picture taking.
 
  • Learn the basics of taking better pictures of family, vacations, candid photos, portraits and landscapes.
  • Special emphasis will be given to learning how your equipment works and how to get the most out of the features of your camera.
  • Important topics covered will be photographic composition, film and digital media types, capacities and resolution, exposure control and flash photography.
  • Students may use any type digital or film camera (camera phones not included).
This course is a prerequisite for Photography Intermediate.
