American Sign Language for Beginners

ASL is the third most used language in America!

This course introduces the native language of the deaf and a foundation of knowledge of American Deaf culture. Students will learn to finger spell the manual alphabet and will be exposed to the basic grammar and structure rules that are unique to ASL.

By the end of this course, students will be able to carry out simple conversations in ASL.

No previous signing experience is necessary. No book required.
